Selection of the unit of cross-section areas of longitudinal reinforcement bars. The unit is derived from a specified length unit.
Note: This definition is just related to cross-section areas of reinforcement bars. Other areas (cross-section areas of beams or tendons) are directly derived from the specified length unit for cross-section parameters.
In order to get more clear and better readable results lists, these areas are often defined in cm2 or inch2, even if the length unit for cross-section parameters is defined as [m] or [ft].
